Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Expertise in Python, JAVA, Linux: Design, code and build product
• Will be responsible to writing codes individually
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and security
• Identify bottlenecks and develop code for the organization
• Understanding of established software development life cycles
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines
• Develop new modules
• Ability to customize existing core modules and add / remove additional features in it.
• Must have ability to write / create / implement complex business logic in back-end.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-3 years of experience in Design or/and Development with Python. (Must have capability to write bug free codes in python)
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages
• Knowledge of Python
• Good Analytical thinking (can test with some analytical questions)
• Knowledge on equities and Trading.
• Bash scripting/Unix
• Should have knowledge of ticketing tool like JIRA.
• Flexible in shifts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics or Computer Science, Engineering, or Econometrics or in STEM specialties.
• Hedge Fund, Asset Management or Proprietary trading background a plus
• 2-3 years relevant experience desirable.
