Devops Engineer - Chennai - AROOPA @ Aroopa Technologies

Job Description

As a Devops Engineer with experience to work in a team environment that will help build, automate, and monitor the infrastructure platform In-house and for our customers as well.

Responsibilities:

• o Good to have a combination of system administration and software development.
• o Help in cloud infra automation, monitoring, and increasing developer productivity.
  Design, create, own, and maintain our systems and service deployments (GCP based).
• o Continuously improve our infrastructure for better scalability, security, and fault tolerance.
• o Integrate DevOps methodology into development, deployment, and operations lifecycle.
• o Create super clean, well structured, performant deployment, monitoring, and application management scripts.
• o Enable rapid deployment of new product features with the necessary safeguards to maintain stability, high availability, and performance.
• o Cloud infra automation, load testing, capacity planning, maintenance and scaling of DBs including backups & replication, horizontal scaling, monitoring infra, infra cost control, CI/CD, security review.

Requirements:

• o 1+ years of relevant experience.
• o Experience in build/release management process and DevOps methodologies.
• o Experience in developing and maintaining CI/ CD process using tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible
• o Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
• o Hands- on experience in build and administer VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker,
• o Working experience on Source control tools like SVN and GIT.
• o Working experience On Python, Ansible and Ansible Tower.
• o Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• o Maintaining In-house infrastructure like system maintenance, patch updates, network security, antivirus installations, firewall configurations etc.
