Senior Engineer II , SW ( C + + QT ) @ Harman Connected

Job Responsibilities:

• Uses Agile Scrum Methodology for software development.

• Develop and write clear and quality code compliant to a product specification

• Develops code for embedded systems needed to support sales of hardware.

• Designs, writes and debugs code in C and C++

• Develops unit tests for all new code.

• Adequately comments all code.

• Use Agile Scrum Methodology for software development.

• Has all code changes peer reviewed, and must peer review code when required.

• Provides input for documentation of new or existing programs.

• Performs technical research, monitors current trends and changes in technology.

• Interfaces with all departments within company.

• Demonstrates industry knowledge to assist in new product development.

• Performs related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Technology

• The preferred incumbent in this position must have an expert-level knowledge of Embedded Systems based on different RTOS.

• This position requires a Bachelor s Degree or better in Computer Science or related area, with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• Must demonstrate the ability to program in C and C++.

• Experience of working on cross platform application development using C++, Qt, native script.

• Experience of working on applications on Linux and Windows.

• Experience of working on ARM based controllers and Linux will be a plus.

• Agile software development experience.

• Familiarity with network protocols is a plus.

• Experience with Linux device drivers is a plus.

• Ability to program in Assembler.

• Ability to create an Embedded Linux system from scratch for a particular hardware configuration.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willingness to travel 5% of the time.

• Willingness to work in an office in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
