As a Lead Software Engineer, you will support and grow a development project team, own responsibility of overall team performance and results and direct the project team in estimation . You will analyze, design, code, debug, test and modify software enhancements and/or new software, and provide high-level architecture guidance and create strategic technical designs for projects of small scope within given solution area . You will manage escalation and issue resolution for internal or external clients and stakeholders, provide input to project resourcing plans, advocate for an efficient development environment, set expectations and drive continuous improvement and high-quality code. Additionally, you will consult with stakeholders on current functionality and complexity of adding new features to develop software specifications, translate business problems into functional work estimates at the component level for current and future projects,
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology, Master's degree in Computer Applications, or related field
At least 10 years of Software Development in a Development environment
At least 8 years of J2ee with Hadoop
At least 3 years of experience in design patterns
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare IT background
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies
Ability to work both independently and in various team settings
Expectations:
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
