Software Test Engineer - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Ivanti

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
• 3-6 years of experience in qualifying networking and/or security products with focus on client/end point testing.
• Atleast 1-2 years of mandatory recent experience in Mobile (Android iOS) testing with good knowledge of Mobile Framework and Architecture.
• Good understanding of VPN and Security SSL / IPSEC VPN, HTTPS, AAA, RADIUS,
• Responsible for testing of products across OS platforms (iOS/Android) for various features with good understanding of BYOD and MDM solutions.
• Good knowledge on networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, L2/L3. Knowledge on IPv6 will be added advantage.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting analytical skills.
• Experience in using performance optimization tools.
• Knowledge in Java Appium based mobile app automation for client server applications would be required.
• High degree of written and oral communication

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionality of services to as a prequel to automation.
• Utilize innovative test technologies to develop a product's testing strategy
• Participating in design and code inspections
• Security testing, tools development, scripting test execution for software solutions in the protocol layer 2-7.
• Responsible for providing requirements and specifications for the automation of test cases
• Develops new test methodologies or processes, re-evaluate existing processes measure quality of product/s.
• Work with cross functional teams to build automated test suites and participate in automating test cases using Java Appium based automation framework.
• Enables teamwork and collaboration within and across work groups
