Technician I, Reliability
Experience: 0 - 2 years (Including inters / apprentices)
Educational Qualifications:
Should have Degree / Master degree / Diploma 10 +2+3 (Electronics / Telecom)
Skills Required:
Technical exp like soldering, Base station and antennas (Product testing / reliability testing).
Should have hands on experience excel, power point, MS office.
Additional experience if SAP preferred
Job Description:
Collaborate with reliability engineers for defining the qualification plans and procedures.
Perform Reliability and Qualification Testing for prototypes, new products, new material qualification and production builds.
Verify the functionality of the laboratory test resources (such as climatic and salt fog chamber, Rain test, UV, salt fog, Vibration shaker) and test equipment.
Work in collaboratively with R&D, NPI, Operations and quality functions for necessary testing data analysis and root cause analysis.
Document test results and processes using defined frame scheme test reports.
File test result reports (records), organize reports and maintain a file system for storage in SAP.
Support Reliability Engineer in executing the test plan on timely manner as per the schedule.
Create Z3 notification in SAP whenever non-conformance or failure is observed in any phase of the reliability test process.
Responsibilities:
Follows all Safety rules and regulations for a safe work environment
Establishes machine repair priorities.
Inputs and manages data for the maintenance management database
Understands and solves problems machinery in assigned areas of the Manufacturing process.
Collaborate with all related functions (ie. Production, Quality, Engineering, Support).
Performs Lockout/Tagout procedures whenever working on equipment.
Responsible for timely technical progression to achieve job level expectations.
Appreciates the impact of their maintenance repairs on quality, uniformity, and productivity.
Performs repairs and/or PMs knowing that they have a direct bearing on tire uniformity and quality.
Performs assigned duties assigned by supervisor.
Create Z3 notification in SAP whenever non-conformance or failure is observed in any phase of the reliability test process.
Trouble shooting skills when the units fail reliability
Use Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) tools to establish root cause analysis & resolve equipment issues
Monitors Key Performance Indicators for the maintenance department using SAP and other tools.
Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures, and apply knowledge in methods and processes to prevent, or reduce the likelihood or frequency of failures in site systems.
Analyze failure history to determine the reliability characteristics of key systems, and from this analysis, develop long-term solutions to recurring issues.
Experience making wiring harnesses by way of soldering, crimping, following wiring diagrams etc.
Methodical and diligent, works with a strong sense of quality and craft
Creative approach to problem solving, with willingness to learn and try new things
Is self-directing, able to work across the entire organization to collect parts and information to execute job responsibilities
