Job Responsibilities:
Ensure Compliances to all labour laws w.r.t effective maintenance of records, submission of returns as per the statute
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for the factory workers
Ensure and Check accurate attendance processing, record maintenance thereof for all the employees in the unit.
Ensure effective Grievance handling basis the statute/policy to drive industrial discipline in the unit.
Handle court cases & ensure resolution in favour of company including settlement of cases outside the court.
Initiating & Implementing disciplinary action / procedures as per the labour laws.
Liaison with police, politicians, labour commissioner etc. as per requirement.
Maintain good networking with local industries & associations.
Manage payment of wages for the workmen (on-roll & contract) in the factory along with overseeing the management of changes / up gradation in pay.
Contractor engagement - ensure manpower availability, contractor compliance etc.
SAP entries (PR-RFQ-PO) for contractor payments, follow-up for payment with Finance team etc.
