Job Description

Design, build, and maintain the core backend stack
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Work closely with Product management on feature design

Qualifications

1-4 Years of work experience in Backend
Experience working on web applications using frameworks like Rails or Django, etc
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Experience working with Relational Databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, etc
Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Liquid, Slim, etc depending on your technology stack
Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

Nice to have

Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
Experience working with LMSs
Familiarity with NoSQL
Sense of humor
