Job Description

Position - Executive Inventory Control, Engineering Stores

Location - Turbhe, Navi Mumbai

Experience

5-6 years of experience in the Stores, Inventory Management Inventory Control, Receipt, Issue, and storage and maintain Store records.


Qualification

  • Graduate in Science / Diploma in Engineering.
  • Preferably, a diploma in Materials Management would be desirable.
  • Good typing speed.
  • Knowledge of MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, MS-POWERPOINT.
  • Hands-on experience /knowledge in SAP will be preferred

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Responsible for handling stores in line with organizations policies.
  • Planning of daily activities, and coordination with the Engineering team for understanding day-to-day requirements.
  • Ensuring timely receipt of goods & services, inspection from engineers, labelling and storage, issuance against requests, and goods/service entries in SAP.
  • Maintain and follow the environment, health, and safety procedures of the organization.
  • Shall be responsible to utilize inventory control systems viz., SAP, Ariba & other business automation software.
  • Responsible for periodic physical inventory verification and performing reconciliation.
  • Responsible for invoice verification, processing, scanning, submission to finance, and handling of invoice returns. Maintain tracker.
  • Work closely with Procurement for supplier invoice rectification for smooth vendor invoice processing.
  • Responsible for maintaining the documents as per Good and Service Tax/Trade Compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
  • Responsible for Material Planning, Control activity, Mini-Max, Re-Order Level, ABC Analysis, identifying Non-Moving Items
  • Liaison with the purchase for the low stock and over stock items and follow up for the same.
  • Share ideas and improve operation by recommending, supporting, and implementing continuous improvement activities, processes, and procedural improvements to optimize results and improve the quality of delivery.
