Technical Skills
- Role Network L2 Support Engineer Were looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to be part of the network infrastructure/support team, ensuring network reliability through responsive troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Responsible for Level 2 support and escalations for network issues.
- Good understanding of ITIL process and hands-on incident, Change and Problem management.
- Strong verbal and written technical communications skills at all levels.
- Configure and install network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, Meraki Devices.
- Hands experience on - IOS up-gradation, password breaking of Router & Switches, knowledge Routing protocol like RIP, OSPF, BGP, ACL, licensing; Switching - VLAN, VTP, STP, inter VLAN routing, HSRP, ether channel and stacking should have understanding & knowledge.
- Security Fundamentals: Should be able to understand / Explain concepts (NAT, ACL, Access Groups, IPsec, AAA) & have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot network Protocols.
- Working and Troubleshooting knowledge of FortiGate Firewalls.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco Meraki switching and wireless technologies.
- Cloud Technology working knowledge of Azure & AWS
- Monitor and communicate progress against milestones, taking proactive remedial action where necessary.
- Knowledge of various NW management tools used in enterprise networks.
- Work closely with internal and external teams for problem resolution.
- Must have CCNA or equivalent certification
- CCNP will have extra advantage
- At least 4-8 years of hands-on experience in network device configuration and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently & flexible to work in off-business hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
