Job Description
- Architect, design, program and transfer of business requirements in the areas of SAP ABAP Programming like ABAP Reporting, Dialogue programming, Forms, Workflow etc in the SAP ERP system.
- Troubleshoot complex & SAP standard application, functional and technical issues and define and document technical requirements, drive solutions for process improvements, and architect solutions that require ABAP programming
- Support business users on a daily basis; maintain up-to-date working knowledge of business processes and systems and provide integration support to trading partners
- Responsible for writing Technical Design, Designing and Developing Solution and Testing
- Do the peer review for SCM developments, guide junior resources, provide End-to-end support of SAP ABAP across SAP supply chain modules (like MM, WM, PP, QM and PM)
- Performs or coordinate functionality tests of new and updated applications and systems to verify desired results are achieved. Evaluates results and coordinates or makes modifications to improve system performance. Creates test plans as required. Participates in application updates and upgrade projects.
- Follows & revise established methodologies during system development and ensures systems adhere to the Harman ABAP standards and procedures established by the Digital department. Develops and maintains all system related documentation.
- Minimum 7 - 9 years deep experience on ABAP development including forms; interfaces; conversions; reports; enhancements; forms; workflow on the SAP ERP system.
- Must have 5 years minimum experience of converting functional specification to technical specification, coding, unit testing and documentation of the custom development.
- Required skills SAP ABAP Reporting, Dialogue programming, LSMW, BDC, BAPI, Data Dictionary, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, RFCs, Object Oriented ABAP, Workflow, ALE IDOC, EDI, OData, ABAP Proxy etc, optimizing existing code for better performance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and work in multiple projects.
- Experience of developing ABAP objects for MM, WM, QM, PP is required
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in Computers, Information Technology or related field
- Short term Travel maybe required in case of projects
- In case if necessary adapt the working hours based on the project/issue
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
