Lead - Testing - Kolkata - Microland - 4 to 7

Job Description

• Participates in global automation testing projects by providing efficient testing services to ensure that projects can be completed as expected and within the timeframe.
• Automation Testing using TOSCA for SAP & web based (and/or other) customised applications: Understanding Business processes, developing script, Execution, Debugging and Reporting.
• Should be able to understand UAT business scenarios and user stories and develop the scripts based on test cases delivered from test analyst and communicate with test analyst. ffEnsuring adherence to the Testing processes & maintaining quality of deliverables ffTimely execution of test cases, debugging the failures & reporting.
• Guide team for Technical queries. ffQuality check of Test Scripts/Test Steps. To check if scripts adhere to the Best Practices. ffResponsible for test planning, scheduling and estimation ffRun/execute existing functional and non-functional test cases/scripts.
• Should be able to articulate and communicate with stakeholders on status reporting, issues and risks. ffEnsure adherence to the Linde testing processes and deliver as per expected quality and timeline. ffProvides out of office Hours support, including weekend & public holidays, if required, for the service.
• Confirmed analytical skills, together with the ability to think outside the box. The solution to the problem is based mainly upon previous experience but also on the analysis of factual and qualitative information.
• Impacts the business by quality of own work and through the ability to deliver high quality and successful solutions related to testing.Required key skills (functional/technical)
• Tosca skills: Modules, Test Cases, Libraries, Execution List, CI/CD, TCD. ffKnowledge in Test management tool MF ALM. ffWell informed about software testing concepts. ffKnowledge of trends and developments in the information technology area. In depth knowledge of trends and developments related to testing. ffTest Design: Test strategy, test plan and test case creation in providing test coverage across various products, systems, and platforms.
• Test Automation: Design and implement reusable automated test frameworks to drive test automation goals and to support continuous integration and regression testing. ffUtilize and extend existing test automation test harnesses.
• Defect Tracking/Reporting: Provide accurate and reproducible qualitative defect reporting, bug scrubs, and quality metrics with project core teams. ffA self-starter that is proactive, and highly motivated
• Should be able to meet daily targets. ffStrong technical and non-technical communication skills both written and spoken ffMethodical & process oriented.Required qualifications / experience

Qualification

• A degree or equivalent from a reputed institute (mandatory) ffISTQB certified (preferable)Skill
• Experience on TOSCA(mandatory) ffExperience in test management tool (ALM) ffProven test automation skills
• Flexible in considering work assignmentsNice to have ffExperience in SAP automation testing will be an added advantage ffTest automation certifications
• Knowledge on continuous integration testing (Jenkins)
• Experience in leading a team for a Test Automation project
• Experience
• Should have overall 5-7 years of SAP/Windows/web-based application automation testing experience.
• Must have overall 2-3 years of web application automation testing experience using TOSCA.
