Senior ColdFusion Software Engineer @ Buck

• Analysis and requirements gathering including communicating with a range of stakeholders;
• documenting requirements, technical specifications and user guides,
• development coding individually and alongside other team members,
• potentially participating in code reviews or solution architecture discussions,
• keeping abreast of latest technical advances to develop skills and knowledge.

Essential skills:

• Minimum 5 years development experience with at least 2 years of ColdFusion development experience.
• Relational database design and development experience - PL/SQL or T-SQL;
• Detailed understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS;
• Understanding of technology terminology and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff;
• Requirements analysis and documentation / writing skills.

• Ruby on Rails experience;
• Test Driven Development;
• Understanding of C# .Net or Java programming;
• Creating and consuming APIs;
• Git version control;
• Experience of Identity Access Management (IAM) tools;
• Understanding of web application security best practices;
• Previous participation in design, code and test reviews;
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
