Job Description

4+ years experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec
Advanced understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
Good understanding of object-oriented programming
Advanced understanding of JavaScript
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Able to implement effective automated tests at the integration, functional and unit levels
Good knowledge of databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Advanced understanding of HTML5, and CSS3
Familiarity with development aiding tools such as Bundler, Rake, etc
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git and Github
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Motivated self-learning and development of skills.
Strong work ethic and desire to consistently meet deadlines
