Job Description

Construction assistants perform a number of administrative and support tasks for the managers of a construction company. Their job duties include clerical duties, such as filing and answering calls, keeping an inventory of company tools and materials, and following up with customers and vendors. The qualifications to become a construction assistant include a high school diploma or an equivalent and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

    Assist Construction Manager with all aspects of site administration and construction procedures
    Supervise trade partners to ensure work is done according to specifications
    Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards
    Inventory site tools and equipment
    Log site incidents and occurrences
