Responsibilities:
Define the right architecture (Question any existing architecture)
Get. Set. Production.
Take the Hardware on Battery and Charger production.
Block-diagram to schematics to layouts to characterizing it to testing it to working with our manufacturing partner to scale it you will own this.
Timeline vs. Quality vs. Cost.
Be a holistic product owner. Think beyond the boundaries of tech.
Choose the right components at the right price point to meet the specifications and make smart trade-offs.
The ideal candidate requires:
Experienced in taking hardware design from concept to production
Understanding of DFX
Good understanding of Power Electronics (eg: Voltage across a capacitor can t change instantaneously)
Deep understanding of Mosfets, Diodes, Capacitors, and Inductors
Expertise in AC-DC, DC-DC Converter design
Expertise in Schematic Design and Simulation study
Experience with Model-Based Development is an added advantage
