Engineer / Senior Engineer (GCP+Java) @ Epam Systems

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Engineers ( GCP with Java ) to work on critical application & product development.

Must-Have Skills :

Hands-on experience in Cloud (GCP )

• Integrating with Google Cloud Service/APIs
• Good exposure on using Cloud Console and Cloud Shell
• Understands Cloud Storage options and has experience on alteast one of them
• Building, testing, and deploying applications on GCP
• Some exposure to application performance and monitoring
• GCP Developer Certificate preferable
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and Cloud-Native concepts
• Aware of cloud security concepts and some of the best practices followed

Hands-on experience in Java 8

• Building distributed applications using Java 8, Spring, Spring boot
• Web services development (RESTful API is mandatory/ SOAP is optional)
• Microservices and Cloud-Native application
• API Security / Spring Security framework
• Messaging/event-driven architecture is good to have (exposure to tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Knowledge of OWASP's top ten security vulnerabilities and how they have been mitigated
• Exposure on GCP, (compute, storage, serverless, cloud service APIs, Security, GKE, EKS)
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Serverless services
