We are looking for a Senior Director of Disaster Recovery to establish, oversee and execute on the business-critical technology disaster recovery program. In order to achieve business objectives, collaboration across the technology organization and various business units is paramount. This role requires a strong understanding of the various infrastructure domains coupled with the ability to work closely with product teams as well as enterprise technology SME groups, to serve a diverse set of product and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Organize and track all phases of the technology disaster recovery life cycle, from pre-planning through post-execution review
• Coordinate all aspects of DR exercise activities, inclusive of all relevant documentation and creation of executable playbooks
• Develop awareness and communication plans, and execute as appropriate
• Partner with the enterprise-level business continuity team, as it pertains to technology recovery
• Enablement of a customer-focused environment for both internal and external customers, focused on anticipation, detection and resolution through disaster recovery planning
• Execute on strategic vision provide the leadership domain expertise to assure the consistent execution of this vision
• Plan, develop, implement and maintain Service Level Agreements, both internally as well as with partners and vendors
• Program level sponsorship responsibility with respect to implementation of standards and practices to deliver best in class client experience

Qualifications:

10+ years of shown success in network, application, or infrastructure operations including a mix of hands-on technical work along with leadership oversight responsibilities

Excellent communication skills

Experience leading within a large enterprise!

Experience leading fast-paced organizations through disruption and transformation

Ability to balance immediate operational and business demands, with long term strategic planning, for the benefit of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology related field or equivalent experience
• Exhibited organizational expertise related to large-scale infrastructure deployments
• Proven track record in strategic planning, tactical planning, business and project management as well as customer and vendor relationship building
• Success motivating and aligning large cross-functional, matrixed teams striving towards a common goal
• Ability to juggle different projects/priorities whilst delivering high-quality outcomes
