Protegrity is seeking for experienced professional for our software product development team which creates enterprise data security ecosystem for global organizations. As part of Protegrity s talented product development team you will contribute to cutting-edge research, development and future product planning in a fast-paced Agile environment. To qualify, you should have 8+ years of relevant experience in developing UI/UX designs to create the user interface for an app, website and other interactive media for Protegrity products. The work includes collaborating with stakeholders to achieve well engineered user interface.

Responsibilities:
Contribute to continuous development, enhancement and maintenance of existing and new products
Contributes to appropriate software development methods, standards, tools to achieve well engineered outcome. Ability to mentor/advice for effective development practices to be used by team including usage of UI/UX design methodologies, frameworks, programming/debugging environments, IDEs.
Assisting in planning and estimation of product backlog features of the team/s to the product owners
Contribution to participation in the process for Agile development of products with an ownership of UI/UX within relevant teams. The work includes collaborating with product stakeholders and engineers to gather requirements from users before implementing ideas which should be communicated using storyboards. This includes gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. You should have experience with UI design software and wireframe tools.
Research, investigate and define new areas of technology to enhance existing products or new product directions in UI/UX
Evaluate responsiveness of the UI and associated performance of products. Tune, re-evaluate the design and re-engineer the current source code if required. Conduct presentations to internal and external stakeholders for validating the UI
Integrating to backend software written in popular programming languages like Python, Java, PHP etc. Preferably should know the programming aspects in these for integration with UI/UX.
Adaptability to learn and enhance skills in the domain of data security alongside UI/UX skills.
Ability to mentor review work of other engineers and capable to work as an individual contributor too. Necessary soft skills to be demonstrated for review/mentorship of engineers inside the team and across the teams.
Excellent collaboration abilities within and across teams for requirements and design finalizations. Cross team technical dependencies to be owned.
Ability to be a good team player and soft skilled person.
Should participate in hiring and onboarding process for the respective team and the skill area of expertise.
Required Skills:
8+ years post-bachelor s degree experience as software engineer in developing integrating UI/ UX with backend software
Experience with ES6, JavaScript / ReactJS / AngularJS / KnockoutJS
Experience with UX concepts, HTML, CSS Pre-processors, Web Design experience, HTTP Server and writing cross-browser compatibly.
Proficiency with Responsive Web Development and performance testing for UI/UX.
Expert knowledge on JavaScript building tools.
Exposure to programming languages like Python/PHP/Java/Go/C++/C# . Python is preferred but other language knowledge is a plus.
Should have experience and good knowledge of REST API and Protocol along with JSON and XML content formats.
Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills
Sufficient knowledge of office productivity tools to represent formal exchange of technical content and communication around it.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of operating systems. Linux Windows is the preference.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and test runners (like Karma, Jasmine).
Knowledge on Code coverage tools (SonarQube, Istanbul).
Good understanding on linting tools (ES Lint), version control (Git).
Understanding of software security requirements and associated standards like NIST, OWASP, PCI-DSS etc.
Has gone through a complete devops cycle, CI/CD pipelines and software test automations. Knowledge of Jenkins/teamcity preferred.
Knowhows of Agile software development methodology for product delivery.
Good understanding of opensource software and popular licensing like GNU, MIT, Apache, BSD etc.
Knowledge of Public Cloud technologies like AWS/GCP/Azure
Qualifications:
B.E/ in computers or equivalent experience is required
