As part of Cloud.in - AWS Operations Team and reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing Our Cloud Operations Team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage 24x7 Cloud Services Desk and lead Team of 10+ Cloud Operations Engineers
Be SPOC for Deploy, Operate, Monitor and Managed AWS Cloud based infrastructure
Ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.
Handle trouble tickets Escalations and communicate with various stakeholders
Delegate Tasks & Service Requests, Prepare Reports and Manage Incidents
Create standard operating procedures, documents and checklists
Coordinate with Sales, Pre-Sales Team on various projects and new initiatives
Hire, train and mentor team of Cloud Operations Engineers
Required Candidate profile
CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Must be AWS Certified Associate or AWS Certified Professional or AWS Speciality Certification - Security
Must be Certified Linux or Windows Server Administrator with Certification such as RHCE, MCSE, MCSA etc
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE: 4+ years hands on experience in System Administration, Monitoring and Managed Services.
2+ years experience in leading team of 6+ technical members
MUST HAVE SKILLS: Real life System Administration experience in Provisioning, Operating, Monitoring and Maintaining Linux and Windows based mission critical infrastructure
Strong knowledge of Backup and DR strategies
Understanding of Highly Available, Fault Tolerant and Scalable System Architectures on AWS
Understanding of Various automation and deployment strategies on AWS
Experience working with various AWS - Compute, Storage, Networking and Database - Services like VPC, VPN, EC2, RDS, ELB, ALB, SNS, SES, CloudWatch, AutoScaling, CloudFront, Route53, S3, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc
Ability to lead and groom team
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS Experience in migrating on-premises applications to Cloud
Experience in TCO, Cost Control and Optimization
Understanding of Information Security and Compliance considerations
Experience in using any of automation, monitoring and management tools
Understanding of DevOps Processes
Experience in Project Management
