Job Description
Looking for candidates who can join on short notice, i. e less than a month. Working with the Architects to understand and implement the proposed solution. Working with the Business Analyst to understand the functional requirements. Working with the team to collaborate on estimating of development effort based on proposed solutionDelivery business functionality quickly, efficiently and to a high qualityLearn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision. Raising the productivity and quality of development teams by promoting agile practices and sharing skills through mentoring and/or pairing
7 years of hands on experience in Core Java and J2EE development preferably in WebSphere 7/8/Liberty profile. Experience of designing and implementing Web Services (SOAP, REST, WS-*)Extensive knowledge of design patterns and applicability in real worldExtensive knowledge of spring based frameworks and toolsEye for slick performing codeExperience of using source code management tools, e. g. Clearcase / SVNGood understanding of Development Methodologies like Test Driven DevelopmentAppreciate the business principles involved in a projectAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to think laterally, an enquiring mind with good analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesDisplay a flexible attitude; be able to thrive in an ever-changing environment. Extensive experience in any of sort of continuous integration environment. Preferable Skills are:Oracle, PL-SQLHTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks like BackboneNode. JSContinuous Integration & Development ToolsWorking Knowledge of LiveSite Application Server and IDOL Working knowledge of HP Deep Diagnostic Tool or CA Wily ToolSkills and Personal CharacteristicsHands on developer and a can-do attitude. A deep passion for technology and a love of learning new concepts and technologies. Able to take a creative approach to situations and problem solving. Desire to do things the right way whilst remaining delivery focusedGood interpersonal skills, confidence and ability to interact professionally with people at all levels. Excellent team player
