Job Location :Bangalore
3.0 Software - Test Engineer-System integration & Smart locker
3.1 Responsibilities
3.1.1 The Software Test Engineer (Validation & Verification) will develop apt test cases from functional requirement to implement detailed test specifications and test plan by working with software development team and project team of both hardware and software.
3.1.2 Create tests for existing functionality and create additional tests for new hardware and software features covering all scenario.
3.1.3 Work with Payment ecosystem or similar Embedded equipment testing team to design and create test conditions and scripts to address functional and technical aspects which cover testing of POS, Payment gateway, & bank approval.
3.1.4 Work with the project team and third parties in specifying/building the test equipment for electronics controls and related application.
3.2 Skill set
3.2.1 Experience in testing embedded controls, PLC controls, Payment eco system and related integrated applications.
3.2.2 Knowledge of testing payment ecosystem.
3.2.3 Knowledge of testing Face detection software
3.2.4 Knowledge of testing QR code scanner testing
3.2.5 Knowledge and experience of using test equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or other data acquisition equipment
3.2.6 Knowledge of STLC , SDLC and hardware development life cycle in electronic controls or a similar industry
3.2.7 Experience in Agile methodology
3.2.8 Proficient in Hardware debugging (Board level) and good understanding of Basic electronics.
3.2.9 Experience in designing Simulator jig or test bench
3.2.10 Knowledge of communication protocols like I2C, UART, Modbus, RS485, BACnet or CAN
3.2.11 Testing the electronic controller using Software simulation tools like Mat lab or Lab view
3.3 General Requirements
3.3.1 Good Attitude to learn and progress
3.3.2 Good Communication Skills
3.3.3 Good trouble shooting skills
3.3.4 Good analysis oriented with an eye for details
3.3.5 Team Player
3.4 Qualification & Other Requirements
3.4.1 BE/ B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
1-3 Yrs Experience in software Testing- PLC Programming , Embedded and Payment Ecosystem
