Job Description

Would you like to be the leader of a team that takes on construction projects that are important to the public If so, being a civil foreman might be a good career match. Civil foremen oversee workers who do things such as build bridges, repair highways, improve airports, and construct communication towers. Civil foremen spend most of their time on construction sites, but they may have an office for activities such as filling out paperwork or holding meetings. Working full-time is the norm, and overtime is commonplace as deadlines near or emergency scenarios arise. The majority of civil foremen are men.
