Job Description

As the Development Engineer in our product development group you will be designing and delivering solutions that scale to meet the needs of some of the largest and most innovative organizations in the world; working with other teams at Saba to understand and exceed the expectations of users; constantly pushing the technical envelope and helping Saba deliver great results.

Skills

Proficient in Java, OOPs, JDBC, Restful services, Oracle, NoSQL
Experience on advanced J2EE and open source Java frameworks like:
Spring MVC, Spring Security Spring Boot
Working Knowledge of transaction based systems and RDBMS
An understanding of AGILE methodologies and the use of test- driven programming is highly desirable
Experienced in delivering large scale SaaS based applications will be good to have
Product Development experience will be good to have

JavaScript / Angular / AJAX / HTML / CSS experience is a major plus
Requirements and the individual
Qualifications

Understands design principles behind a scalable application and performance improvements
Good knowledge in HTML/CSS along with one of UI frameworks like Angular, ExtJS
Excellent in troubleshooting skills
Habitual of peer programming, test driven development
Understand product development life cycle
Develop and adhere frameworks built based on Java and Angular.
Participate in technical reviews.
Need to take care of client issues related to security, performance, enhancements etc.
Ability to self- start, learn fast, and work in a fast- paced environment on multiple tasks
Initiative and sense of ownership
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Very strong problem solving and decision making skills
