Job Description

The Innovation and Industrial Design (IID) team is tasked with improving the efficiency of our cloud kitchens through smart equipment, robotics, automation and monitoring devices. We are looking for electrical/electronics engineers to design and build these solutions.

You will lead the electrical design of one or more systems. You will be responsible for the automation of these systems through sensing and control and enable IoT capability, working with a cross-functional team to achieve the project goals. Quick prototype development using DevBoards is required, followed by transferring the design to custom designed PCBs. You will also work closely with external manufacturing vendors during the design, assembly and testing stages to debug issues and drive continuous improvements.

Required Candidate profile

Controls, PLC, EMC/EMI, Power, Safety, IoT

Desired Background:

Knowledge of MCUs and PLCs
Analog and digital sensors and their calibration
Electronic System Design, PCB Design, and Connected System Design
Development Boards of ARM and AVR architecture (Arduino, Pi, ATMEGA, STM32, BeagleBone)
IoT development (ESP8266 boards such as NodeMCU)
Power supply design/requirement.
