REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES: 2-6 years of experience for Developer. Hands on technical experience in must have technical requirements Strong working knowledge of Developing, Designing and implementing large scale enterprise applications Possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and internal and/ or external customers Knowledge of Agile process REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL SET: Working knowledge on mainframes technologies (Cobol, JCL, DB2, IMS DB & DC, IBM utilities & tools, changeman, xpeditor, IBM debugger) Responsibilities Should be able to understand the overall technical design of data migration process from legacy systems to target systems Perform impact analysis for new requirements or change requests Develop mainframe routines/ modules & perform unit testing as per detailed technical design for new requirements and change requests Develop JCL, PROC and Control Cards in test environment to support mock run executions in SIT environment Generate summary & error reports and perform initial analysis of errors or fallouts during pre-scan and load process Execute and monitor production MF migration jobs for ongoing monthly data migrations and make sure the execution completes successfully Generate the TGOT reports after the load process is completed Should be able to handle and resolve job abends during execution Analysis, triage defects and propose solution to fix the defects working closely with other stakeholders Develop minor changes as part of defect fixes post implementation Update technical design document in case of any new requirements/ CRs driven by other teams or existing issues Create detailed test scenarios and test plans Support deployment/ implementation activities as per release calendar Code review checklists are updated accurately Pro JCLs are performed for all Jobs Audit are performed for all packages before deployment Code retrofit is carried out after release implementation Effective coordination with onshore team for design and development activities Develop Adhoc programs to make one-time updates to database as per business team request
