We have a Walk In for Devops Engineer .The job & Walk In details are given below:-
Key Result Areas:
DevOps Implementation using Tools Manage Code Release CI/CD Automation TFS Admin Client communication and interaction
Job Description:
- Working closely with a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Operations and business stakeholders to ensure smooth deployments of software updates.
- Pro-actively work with the team to improve the process of controlling codes, building and deploying solutions across all test and production environments.
- Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts and components with variety of build and deployment automation tools; Source code control implementations (e.g. TFS), build runners (e.g. Jenkins), deployment automation (e.g. TFS, Jenkins,GIT, MSBuild, etc.) Should have an experienced of 2-5 years in TFS, CI/CD Automation, managing end to end release process.
- Must have at least 5 years of Experience with any of build and deployment automation platforms: Jenkins, TFS, GIT AWS CodeDeploy, Teamcity, Octopus Deploy, etc.
- Must have at least 6 months of experience in application migration to TFS.
- Should be able to handle migration activity for all projects from earlier version of TFS to TFS 2018. Should be well versed with TFS 2018 and should be able to guide and provide KT to team.
- Should have strong scripting and automation skills especially PowerShell.
- Experience of deploying .NET as well as Java applications Experience in automating database deployments, database versioning, source control. Should be able to provide CICD roadmap to Management for implementation of automation in GITL.
- Should share and implement DevOps Industry standards in GITL.
- Should be able to define release activities based on Release Notes: Branching, Merging, Build Pipeline, Deploy, Test, etc.
- Should be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues pertaining to build, release and deployment. Should be able to share and communicate project activity status and report to QA Head and Management including various metrics on weekly basis or as and when demanded Should assist quality team to ensure that features expected to go in the release have been deployed and ensure successful deployment.
- Should have wholistic approach to the application development and should have strong owner attitude for all TFS related activities. Should collect and analyze Process metrics for improvements. (Efficiency/Efficiency)
Requisite Work Experience:
Essential: 2-5 Years of Experience in CI/CD.
Preferred :
- Experience with large enterprise scale solutions
- Working experience or good understanding of .Net Framework and Java Platform
- Development and/or DBA experience with MS SQL Server
Special Skills required:
Essential: Fluent English; Good Presentation, Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills (both written and verbal), Dedication to quality approach, Attention to details, high level analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues and make informed decisions about them when written guidelines are not necessarily available.
