Job Description
Company is looking for a PMO person who will be responsible for centralized management structure for a group of IT projects in an organization, aimed at ensuring standardization, reducing duplication and leveraging resources such as people, technology, and communication.
The major role of this profile will be to define and maintain process standards by providing a framework to establish standard performance measures based on organizational goals and objectives, and providing tools and procedures to achieve this.
This translates into three key areas:
Establishing Project Methodologies
- Project Tracking
- Project Governance
- Time management
- Setting Goals
- Multiple project Handling
- Onboarding new project Team
- Creating a project management ecosystem
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Planning and Goal Setting
- Project Execution and Governance
- Project Documentation and Archives
- Project Prioritization and Portfolio Alignment
- Process Improvement and Standards Development
- Implementing established policies, & controls to ensure the successful management and reporting of all corporate initiatives in the program
- Supervising and leading the program and project staff to oversee the impacts and interdependencies between programs and working to ensure initiatives meet the goals and objectives of the executive leadership team
- Providing both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks and issues
- Managing resource forecast or creating a resource capacity plan. This will help in understanding the availability of various resources for organizational projects
- Enable capture of project requests and ensure each of those requests have enough relevant information that can aid in the assessment of that project
- Maintaining an updated status of projects that are underway and those that have requests pending review
- Implement prioritization and scoring models for better assessment of the requests that should be approved
Additional Information
MUST HAVES (Mandatory):
- Relevant Certifications: PMP / PRINCE2
- Experience in multiple project handling (IT)
- Exposure in handling Global projects
