Job Description:

• Review of purchase order along with the technical specification or drawings provided by client.
• Preparation of input review findings form.Assigning work to the Draughtsman for the preparation & review of drawings and documents supplied by clients.
• Providing all the inputs to Draughtsman for drawing preparation.Preparation of design development plan.
• Checking of the drawings prepared by the Draughtsman along with calculation modification.
• Review & recheck the drawing for Draughtsman correction & submission to the client & to factory for fabrication.
• Issuing B.O.M. to the Purchase Dept. for procurement.
• Follow-up if required to client for comments & approval of the drawing.
• After receiving of client comment, checking of the comments& assigning it to the Draughtsman revision of drawing.
• Submission of revised drawing to client.
• Must have extensive experience with mechanical design,fabrication,welding,inspection, post weld heat treatment and testing of pressure vessels, columns and heat exchangers.
• Must have experience using PVELITE software.Experience with API 650 tanks is a plus.Must have extensive background,knowledge and familiarity with ASME Section II, ASME Section VIII, Div.1 and ASTM Standards.
