Job Role : Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

Analyze and Evaluate Existing Architecture and Design and Configure a complex
Network architectures on AWS Cloud.
Setup/configuring EC2 (Linux and Windows) Servers on AWS.
Build and configure a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Public and Private Subnets, Security Groups, Route Tables, Elastic Load Balancer and blocking suspicious IP/subnet via ACL.
Designing a Backup solution and a Disaster Recovery for the infrastructure in the cloud.
Design and implement the Cloud Infrastructure to easily adapt to changes in an Agile Environment.
Setup/Managing Databases on Amazon RDS.
Utilizing CloudWatch to monitor resources such as EC2, EBS, ELB, RDS, S3 etc. and creating Cloud watch Dashboards, Alarms, and events to trigger actions on AWS resources.
Configured CloudWatch custom metrics on Linux and windows servers.
Creating/Managing DNS records on Amazon Route53 and GoDaddy panel and AMI/Snapshots/Volumes, IAM Roles and users.
Creating/Managing , Upgrade/downgrade AWS resources (CPU, Memory, EBS).
Creating customized IAM policies for various AWS resources to have required accessibility to required resources.
Installed and Setup Web Server (Apache and Tomcat), DB Server (MySQL) on Linux and Windows.
Setup/Managing CDN on Amazon CloudFront (Origin Path: Server / S3) to improve site performance.
Configuration and administration of Load Balancers, Network and Auto scaling for high availability.
Creating Lambda functions and python scripts to automate the AWS environments.
Developing python scripts using boto3 to automate the Cloud Infrastructure operations.
Used AWS Systems Manager to perform configurations on multiple EC2 servers on a single shot.
Setup/configure Cloud Trail to enable API level logging.
Creating/import SSL certificates using AWS certificate manager.
Setup/configure SNS topics and subscriptions to deliver notifications. SES to send transactional/bulk emails
Worked with AWS DMS service to perform database migrations between different database platforms.
Enabling Virtual hosts on the servers to host multiple web applications.
Setup/configure App Stream to provide users instant-on access to the applications they need on the device of their choice.
Setup/Configuring Amazon Workspaces (virtual desktops) and install all required tools needed by the development teams.
Hands on experience with continuous integration tool and continuous deployment through Jenkins.
Create and Manage S3 buckets.
S3 cross account migrations and AMI's, snapshots transfers across the regions, accounts.
Configuring software and hardware VPN.
Used Terraform for building, changing and versioning infrastructure safely and efficiently.
