Job Description

The position is responsible for

  • Product development, profitability delivery of the strategic agenda for Credit Cards Personal Loans
  • Achievement of the budgeted growth in customer numbers, balance sheet profits for the product
  • Ensuring end-to-end processes are developed to deliver high NPS scores across the Cards and Personal Loans Product as well as adhering to all internal regulatory control requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

STRATEGY

  • Develop a product suite and Customer Value Proposition that is distinctive, market-leading and scalable, while being consistent with the global strategy and framework.
  • Deliver customer growth numbers through both on-boarding CVP product enablers as well as control attrition
  • Drive Profitability, as well as grow in line with market on strategic products
  • Manage, maintain develop strong and differentiated and best-in-class product offerings.
  • Manage the technology development and implementation of strategies to deliver product propositions CVPs.
  • Develop strategies for revenue generation through cross sell route
  • Derive insights to competitor strategies and take proactive steps.
  • Build partnerships with Group to drive key initiatives
  • Lead the payments channel; manage Debit card product portfolio, and emerging payments. Should understand the landscape in the payments industry
  • Delivering Innovation in Business adoption and growth for payments. Drive UPI, QR, and Bill pay adoption.
  • Evaluate and roll-out new payment platforms
  • Drive Net-Banking payment mode and increase volumes and interchange
  • Engage with Payment schemes like MasterCard, Visa, Rupay etc and drive strategies to grow the business jointly with them.

ACQUISITION

  • Continuously analyse product performance and identify improvement/ growth areas

  • Support all sales efforts by the sales stream to be the Best in the Market in terms of in-branch/Indirect acquisition model.
  • Review, analyze and manage the customer portfolio for profitable growth.
  • Initiate development of strategies for customer acquisition, retention and cross sell

OPERATING PROFIT

  • Maximize business performance and achieve Best in class opportunity.
  • Manage the budget, ensuring it is met and accurately forecasted throughout the year, including all product-related costs.
  • Manage the fee structure, revenue generation and minimize revenue leakage.

OPERATIONS COMPLIANCE

  • Ensure team compliance with all policies and guidelines of the country and the group
  • Post account set up processes on control as well as service issues.

PEOPLE LEADERSHIP

  • Build internal and external relationships with various functions (Group Teams, Sales, Technology, Compliance, Risk etc.) as well as partners (Visa, Master, NPCI, Cco-brand Partners)
  • Identify, develop and coach talent to build strong internal capability and resources to create a world class team
  • Develop and build a strong talent pipeline for future business growth and continuity
  • Drive engagement within the team and minimize regrettable attrition.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in PL business management.
  • Track record of successful implementation of product variants and innovative customer offerings.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Ability to manage and implement change initiatives by taking ownerships and working with all stakeholders.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and leadership ability, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
  • Management graduate with over 15 years relevant working experience.
  • Experience of leading product teams especially credit cards
