The Tata Translational Cancer Research Centre (TTCRC) is an exciting new research
institute being set up within TMC. TTCRC is creating a stimulating environment where
clinicians, scientists and industry can work together to develop indigenous solutions for
patients with cancer in India. As a new institute, the structure offers the unique
opportunity for talented individuals to become leaders in the field of translational
medicine within a relatively short span of time.
The post will provide support for bio banking and cutting edge laboratory research in
genomics, molecular and cellular biology in the field of cancer. We will expect you to
interface with the clinical and laboratory teams to enable translational research.
A wide variety of research work is on offer, both clinical and laboratory based.
Team Work and Supervision
The post holder will work within a team that will include themselves, other scientists
and clinicians involved in developing biomarkers. Appointments have been made in
genomics and proteomics and we expect you to work closely with these individuals.
TTCRC works on a modular system with each focus group working independently. Team
leaders have been appointed and will be responsible for your supervision.
