Staff / Sr. Staff Software Engineer @ Enphase Energy

Mission (Why does this role exist) and Scope (About the Job)

Build and Maintain mobile applications for Enphase. Build scalable application s that can process terabytes of data.

Enable Enphase to succeed in market by building application various stakeholders of the company including Customer Support, homeowners and installers

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role )

• Ability to develop mobile app s with the native mobile technologies including iOS Objective- C/Swift , Android Java/Kotlin
• Experience on working with Bluetooth / BLE with custom profiles
• Working experience on WiFi (access point) and/or NFC or similar Peer- to- peer protocols
• Experience on C ertificate pinning, PKI integration, certificate management .
• Collaborate with the development team, architect, product manager, and UX designer to convert the mock to mobile application pages/flow/visual representation.
• Conduct feasibility of design mockups in selected native mobile app frameworks. Collaborate with the backend development team to implement features end to end.

Qualifications: Education , Competencies ( Knowledge , Skills Behaviour) and Experience

• Minimum Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience in various native mobile frameworks with a focus on mobile application.
  • Provide coding experience in the following language: iOS Objective- C/Swift or Android Java/Kotlin
  • Proficiency in asynchronous/multi- threaded programming and databases specific to mobile devices .
  • Knowledge of cross platform mobile application development environment is a plus.
  • Experienced developer to work on front end pages, application navigation, application flow, charts, mobile front- end UI visual presentation of data in various formats.
  • Creative visual UI implementation skills, as proven by a strong portfolio Experience working within an agile environment Familiar with working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal direction Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross- functionally within small, close- knit teams

• Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companies
  • Familiar ity working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable
  • Ability to work on a fast- paced environment
  • Experience with IoT based systems preferred
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles
  • A technical mindset with great attention to detail Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
