Staff / Sr. Staff Software Engineer - Frontend @ Enphase Energy

Mission (Why does this role exist) and Scope (About the Job)

Build and Maintain Frontend projects and infrastructure for Enphase. Build scalable application that can process terabytes of data.

Enable Enphase to succeed in market by building application various stakeholders of the company including Customer Support, homeowners and installers

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role )

• Ability to develop Rich UI components with the latest javascript based frameworks including ReactJS Angular
• Building a responsive UI layout for web and mobile application pages using bootstrap .
• Sound knowledge on any unit test framework - Jasmine, Mocha
• Collaborate with the development team, architect, product manager, and UX designer to convert the mock to web / mobile application pages/flow/visual representation.
• Good working knowledge on SASS and LESS CSS pre processors
• Conduct feasibility of design mockups in selected javascript frameworks. Collaborate with the Web backend development team to implement features end to end.
• Design graphical user interfaces elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets Identify and troubleshoot UI problems (e.g. responsiveness, cross- platform issues, browser quirks etc)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors , and images as per the company requirements

Qualifications: Education , Competencies ( Knowledge , Skills Behaviour) and Experience

• Minimum Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience in various latest javascript frameworks with a focus on web and mobile web .
  • Experienced developer to work on front end pages, application navigation, application flow, charts, mobile web, front end UI visual presentation of data in various formats.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross- functionally within small, close- knit teams
  • Proven coding experience in the following languages: HTML, HTLM5, CSS, CSS3, JS, and jQuery. Knowledge of frameworks like React JS and/ or Angular JS.
  • Creative visual UI implementation skills, as proven by a strong portfolio Experience working within an agile environment . Familiar ity working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal direction . Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companies
  • Familiar with working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable
  • Ability to work on a fast- paced environment
  • Experience with IoT based systems preferred
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles
