We'll back you with great training, support and opportunities.Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims. Authorizes the appropriate payment or refers claims to investigators for further review. Conducts data entry and re-work; analyzes and identifies trends and provides reports as necessary with moderate work experience within own function. Some work is completed without established procedures and basic tasks are completed without review by others. Supervision/ guidance is required for higher level tasks.Primary Responsibilities:Provide expertise or general claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claimsAnalyze and identify trends and provide reports as necessaryConsistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standardsThis is a challenging role that takes an ability to thoroughly review, analyze and research complex health care claims in order to identify discrepancies, verify pricing, confirm prior authorizations and process them for payment. You'll need to be comfortable navigating across various computer systems to locate critical information. Attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy, which will impact the timely processing of the member's claim.
