Job Description
Interior Designer (Modular Furniture Industry)
Salary Range: Up to 50,000 INR per month (negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Interior Designer with expertise in the modular furniture industry to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet our clients' needs and preferences. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Understand clients' requirements and preferences for interior design projects in the modular furniture industry.
Develop design concepts, space plans, and furniture layouts that optimize the use of available space while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Create 2D and 3D visualizations, including detailed drawings, renderings, and mood boards, to communicate design ideas effectively.
Select appropriate materials, colors, finishes, and furniture that align with the clients' vision and budget.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to source and procure modular furniture and materials within budgetary constraints.
Ensure timely project delivery by managing project timelines, coordinating with the implementation team, and resolving any design-related issues that may arise.
Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and design techniques to enhance creativity and efficiency.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries, incorporating feedback, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility, take accurate measurements, and monitor progress during the execution phase.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project coordination.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the modular furniture industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing your interior design projects, specifically highlighting modular furniture design.
Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
In-depth knowledge of space planning, furniture design, color theory, materials, and finishes.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, suppliers, and team members.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architectural is preferred.
