Job Description

Senior Executive / Team Leader Finance (Individual Contributor):

Client is seeking to hire a Sr. Executive / Team Leader - Finance who can work closely with our Finance Operations team. The candidate hired for this role will be responsible for US GAAP accounting and end to end review and reporting of the monthly financials of the US holding company and its 100% owned India subsidiary.
The role will include the responsibilities not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:
Preparation of reports (MIS) on monthly basis for review.
Overseeing the expense accruals on monthly basis to ensure the accuracy of reporting.
Preparation of consolidated financial statements & relevant disclosures as per US GAAP and IFRS. Knowledge of various forms and filing under state and federal taxation laws in the US.
Reviewing, interpreting and execution of various deeds, documents and agreements of the company. Manage the day-to-day accounting, general expenses entries, bank book and bank reconciliation statements.
Should liaise with senior team members for financial discussions.
Adherence to Corporate policies and procedures with respect to all relevant financial matters. Generation of various ad-hoc reports / statements as and when required by the Management.
Liaising with statutory auditors, internal auditors, bankers, etc.
Handle the monthly billing with US based clients and track the collections.
Forecast cash flow position and ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital requirements.
Preparation of the company's annual budget. Analytical reporting to management on variances from the budget, and the reasons for those variances. Reviewing of intercompany transaction to avoid any issue in transfer pricing and withholding tax.

Additional Skills :
Strong analytical skills with a go getter approach. Working experience in US GAAP mandatory, IFRS preferable.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
Ability to comfortably juggle multiple balls at the same time and willing to work beyond regular business hours as and when the need arises.
Able to work independently and be a self-starter.

Strong communication skills written as well as spoken.

Qualification: MBA Finance / CA Intermediate (not pursuing CA further) with experience of 10+ years. CA with experience of 2-3 years.
