Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
CIVIL
- Develop BIM models for architectural services from design stage to as-built stage and
coordinating between all other services. - Preparation of Architectural BIM Models with various level of detailing.
- Strong knowledge in architectural design and detailed drawings.
- Ability to generate various Architectural layouts, sections, elevations and details Clash
detection and co-ordination using Navisworks
- Ability to create 3D views or renderings.
MECHANICAL
- Develop BIM models for MEP services from design stage to as-built stage and coordinating
- between all other services.
- Preparation of MEP BIM Models with various level of detailing.
- Strong knowledge in design and detailed drawings.
- Ability to generate various Mechanical/Electrical layouts, sections, elevations and details
- Clash detection and co-ordination using Navisworks
- Ability to create 3D views or renderings.
- Involved in designing and 3D Modelling HVAC, using Revit.
- Preparation of Mechanical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing (Drainage & water Supply) 3D drawings in Revit.
ELECTRICAL
- BIM Modelling and drawing extraction
- To develop concept ideas into drawing details
- Drawing or detail production from engineering sketches or calculations
- Making sure drawing production follows company standards
- Clash detection, resolution and reporting ensuring a coordinated design
- Reviewing model/drawings to check compliance with design
- Participation in computational workshops and presentations
- Preparation of Electrical services (eg. ELV, LV, Lighting) shop/detail drawings and as built drawings.
- Ensures and maintains quality for finished drawings.
- Preparation of single line diagram and equipment layouts.
- Preparation of layout according to the local and international Standards.
- Preparation of Cable Schedule and Cable tray sizing.
Desired Candidate Profile
CIVIL/MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
- Proficiency in BIM, Revit Architecture, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MEP, HVAC
- Ability to create parametric families.
- Understand and work as per BIM Manual/Project Standards.
Effective communication in English - Basic technical knowledge in their respective departments.
- Excellent presentation skill
- Practical and Logical Thinking Ability
- Ability to create a drawing within given time
- Ability to remain patience and compassionate for challenges
- To stay calm under pressure and keep to deadlines
- Attention to details
- Flexible to work in any timeline
Technical Ability:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PPT)
- Strong knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit, Navis work, MEP, HVAC
Education & Experience Requirement:
Minimum Graduate in: BE/Diploma : Civil/Mechanical/Electrical,
with more than 7 months of work experience as a Junior/ Senior BIM Modeler
Preferred: Have an Experience in using Revit software for the Western Country Project and Gulf Project
Trainings & Certifications: AutoCAD / Revit /MEP/HVAC/NAVIS
