Job Description

Dairy farm assistants help farmers with a variety of tasks, including caring for and milking cows, repairs and maintenance, and other farming activities.

What are the duties of a dairy farmer Dairy farmers works with cows (or rarely, other animals) to produce milk and related products. They may be responsible for caring for the animals by providing or arranging for food, shelter, or medical care. They are also often in charge of regular milking. What are the duties of a farm helper Responsibilities:

Ensure work area and equipment are in safe and reliable working order;
Assist Farm Staff in regular care and rotation of farm animals including cattle, sheep, goats, horses and poultry around farm and paddocks;
Assist farm staff in garden work including planting, weeding, mulching, and harvesting

What are the duties of a milk factory worker Main tasks

Milk cows.
Help animals give birth and take care of the calves.
Feed and care for the animals.
Maintain equipment and buildings.
Maintain animal health records.
Manage dairy herds.
Participate in crop cultivation, as required.
