Job Description
Position- Sr. Engineer- Estimation HVAC-MEP
Education- BE- Mechanical
Exp- 8 to 10 Years
Salary 10 Lac CTC Max PA.
Location- Mumbai Office.( Chembur)

Job Responsibility
- Thorough scrutiny of tender docs and bring out difficult / un-acceptable clauses in the tender.
- Understanding / Evaluating the basic requirement of the projects through tender documents, drawings, client & consultant meeting and site visits etc.
- Co-ordination with team for MEP queries and offer. Arranging internal group meeting within in team and coordinate for MEP scope and battery limits.
- To organize and conduct various Pre-tender meetings with the customer and pre-qualified vendors to discuss and finalize on various technical aspects and the scope of the Tender.
- Quantity estimation as per tender drawings (AutoCAD 2D, Autodesk Revit, Tender Drawings)
- Preparation of Actual quantified BOQ
- Floating of RFQ to vendors as per the tender BOQ & Specification
- Evaluating and comparing various bidders / vendors on technical, scope and commercial aspects.
- Preparation of price (costing - estimation) and technical comparison of various vendors after freezing all technical issues and scope.
- Identifying ways and methods to optimism cost for estimation of project by referring past PO placed on the similar equipment, by proposing latest cost-effective technology or equipment to client discussed during technical discussions, analyzing the price trend of major commodities & currencies on y-o-y basis of past 4 to 5 years, taking feedback from planning and erection team for optimizing or correcting the cost involved.
- Preparation of documents for Higher Level / Management approval
- Preparing techno-commercial offers for the Project as per clients tender requirements and submitting error-free offers on-time.
- Build rapport with Clients, Consultants, PMC and Architects for identifying new prospects.
- Developing Supplier Data base and finding new cost-effective suppliers.
