Monotype s headquarters are in Boston, MA, and has offices in India, USA, Korea, UK, Germany, China and Japan. Monotype India is based in NOIDA (Delhi/NCR). Engineering teams in Monotype use best in class advanced techniques and tools in Continuous Integration, LAMP, Node.JS, AWS, Angular JS, Big Data, Machine Learning, and automated test solutions in the entire spectrum of solutions in areas like cloud services, e-commerce, embedded systems, Internet of things, digital advertising, brand engagement & mobile consumer solutions. What we re looking for: 6 - 10 year development experience developing complex, scalable web based applications with 4 years in eCommerce/Digital Commerce domain with high volume transactions 4 years of hands-on experience with LAMP technology stack as a full stack developer 1 years of extensive hands-on development experience with Microservices Architecture Experienced in test driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery Experience in writing clean and maintainable code using design patterns, OOPs and SOLID principles Strong knowledge of object-oriented development methodologies Good understanding of web protocols Hands-on in designing and defining database schema using RDBMS and NoSQL databases Experience working with web services (XML, JSON, REST) and Microservices Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Experience in collaborating with geographically distributed teams Experience in authoring and maintaining a high volume web-based application Experience in working in Agile development environment Experience with AWS services, application monitoring tools Experience with Github and the Features branching workflow Awesome written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a global and distributed environment with agility to mould communication for different audiences Good to have experience on CMS migration. For instance, Wordpress to Drupal or Umbraco to Drupal Drupal Certification will be an added advantage Good to have experience on PHP, Nodejs, MongoDB, Docker, ELK stack, Redis / Memcached, Kafka / RabbitMQ You will have an opportunity to: COLLABORATE with Product Management, User Experience Design teams to understand business requirements and design appropriate solutions PROVIDE expert technical guidance on development options and best practices to fellow team members and stakeholders WORK with the broader team to lead the architecture and design, and work with the team to build and maintain high performance, flexible and highly scalable web and desktop based applications PERFORMS Proof of Concept examples using legacy as well as on the block technology stacks LEARN new tools, tech and expand your horizons to become a T-shaped engineer
