Job Description

The Exhibition Director is also known as the Conference Director or Meeting Director. He/She formulates ideas and curates content for meetings, conferences and exhibitions. He/She works closely with stakeholders to set the vision and content of the events, and develops optimal user experiences for participants.

 

A Director, or Managing Director, manages and oversees a small group of subordinate managers. Their duties include strategic planning, ensuring the company meets goals and managing profit and loss.

 

Directors of marketing and events usually supervise a whole staff of marketing professionals and events planners. They take care of the planning and administrative work that goes into planning a company's slate of events, such as developing strategic partnerships or managing the budget.
