Project Manager - Hyderabad / Secunderabad @ Novartis Healthcare

Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, development, and tracking of projects (with medium risk, value, and complexity) considering and planning their timelines, costs, and quality accurately and appropriately. As project owner, communicate risks and challenges to Product Development and executive leaders. Facilitate cross-functional teams in proposing solutions for multiple development and project strategy constraints. Work out and execute with the project teams strategies for project development, regulatory as well as manufacturing and IP pathways. Major Accountability
Project Team Leadership
Define and execute project strategies in alignment with portfolio goals and selection assumptions
Lead project teams within matrixed organization; engage stakeholders and resolve conflicts proactively
Facilitate regular and ad hoc project team meetings, ensuring documentation of agendas, minutes, and actions Define key project risks and establish response plans Provide status updates and conduct escalations within defined governance requirements and ensure timely decision making
Report and maintain project data and documents within data bases Project Planning
Establish project plan baselines and document assumptions
Compile and challenge project schedules with the project team, manage timelines through critical path
analysis
Describe impact to timeline in scenario planning
Monitor completion of key development tasks through milestone completion, quality gates, and stage gating processes Project Budget Management
Establish and control budget for project direct and indirect costs
Identify project budget risks and opportunities
Describe impact to project budget in scenario planning
Report project budget according to established Sandoz financial cycles

Minimum requirements

Scientific academic degree, preferably in pharmacy, chemistry or biochemistry Project Management training Fluent In English
Experience in Product Development/RD (3+ years) and in Project Management (5+ years)
Experience in managing and leading RD projects
RD understanding in the broader ecosystem of Generic Pharmaceutical Companies
Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team member and executive stakeholders within matrix organization
Functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at an appropriate level of ac-accomplishment
Understand how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow, as well as know what and how to measure it.
