Overview:
o To design the long-term strategy and systems to achieve high standards of quality in
the products manufactured and supplied
o To overall administratively manage the QA team
o To provide direction to teams in quality Assurance in order to have business objectives
o Compliance to company policy
o To ensure legal and regulatory compliance to statutory food laws. Also to represent
company's interest at Statutory organizations and maintaining an optimal liaison
o Plan, conduct and action all Quality Audits as per strategic quality plan at facilities
o To develop, implement, monitor, improve vendor performance process for all RM /
PM vendors
o To ensure implementation of the complaint handling system
o To ensure food safety of the products and the systems of food safety such as HACCP
and label claim management
o Constantly evolve new methods, new technique, to improve product and process
quality
o To ensure training of all quality personnel across the facilities for function of Quality
Assurance and Food Safety Programs
o To develop quality systems / Quality objectives / Quality policies/ Strat plan for all
facilities
o Decision making and guiding team for various trouble shooting
o To implement Quality Risk mgt process
o To coordinate site audits and make site ready for the audit
o To arrange all quality support in in site projects
o To enable site to achieve world class manufacturing standards with active
participation in 5S and continuous improvement
o To develop a strong sensory Evaluation process which includes development of
standards and building capability of team and setting up a process for monitoring
against the standards
o To develop review mechanism to track the progress on KPIs and performance
