Job Description
Role - Mainframe Developer
Exp 4 to 6years
Np- 15days to Immediate
Location- Pune
Key responsibilities:
o Design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications in Agile/Waterfall
o Understand High Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low Level Design as per specifications. Perform application analysis & propose technical solution for application enhancement or resolve production issues
o Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
o Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
o Perform Development & Deployment. Should be able to write well designed, testable, efficient Code, Unit Test & Deploy
o Creation necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases
o Handle Production Issues (Tier 2 Support, weekend on-call rotation) to resolve production issues & ensure SLAs are met
Technical Skills: Main Skill Mainframe
Mandatory
o Mandatory and Hands on experience in Mainframe Programming COBOL, JCL, IMSDB, System Utilizes like SORT, FILEAID etc. REXX, SAS scripting tools
o Transfer mechanisms Connect Direct, sFTP, etc
Good to have
o DB2
o Telecom domain knowledge
