Roles and Responsibilities

ICT Engineer-Linux-

Experience : 3 - 5 yrs

Location :Noida

Experience :

Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. / Any Degree with Certifications / (12+) - Technical Board.

-willing to work in 24x7 rotation shift

-Knowledge on Linux & Windows to support L1 tickets

-Resolution of software, hardware and networking tickets

-Escalating to next level for assistance, if the issue is not resolved by system Engineer. Escalation would be to a LinkedIn L3 system Engineer.

-Resolving incoming trouble tickets. Tickets are communicated through and resolved in Jira or through direct walk up.

-Support services will be provided from 24X7

-Excellent Troubleshooting skills

-The System Engineer could also receive via a ticket tasks that need to be completed on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.

-New devices setup - Clone/Install new compute nodes with operating system image and application packages

-Application support like Configuration Management, DNS, DHCP, email, FTP etc.

-Monitor and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency

-User account management, User groups management

-Server Hardening

-Domain Joining and User Administration

-YUM server

-OS upgradation ,Kernel upgradation

-Network configuration and issues

-SSH access issue handling

-LVM (Creation, Extend, Deletion and troubleshooting)

-NFS issue troubleshooting ,SUDO / Admin access
