Develop long-term inventory plans for SCM units by taking into account the various considerations such as catchment preferences, peak seasons, campaigns planned, market trends, etc.
Identify the volume and type of inventory that need to be procured and up-stocked during seasons, festivals, campaigns and recommend the same to the Head Supply Inventory Planning
Constantly monitor the amount of inventory available across SCM units (buffer stock) to effectively manage the utilization of the same and avoid over/under stocking
Leverage data through the use of the analytics dashboards, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights that will help create robust short-term and long-term supply and inventory management plans for the SCM units
Study existing supply and inventory management processes in SCM units, analyze the root cause of any issues identified and provide suggestions for improvement to enhance operational efficiency
Use current and historical shipment information, market trends and POS data to develop demand plans and execute inventory buys.
With internal sales and operations team to develop specific forecasts down to the sku- level, and anticipate changes which can impact planning
