Your Role and Responsibilities
Looking for highly motivated and experienced IT professional to join our IBM Storage Fusion DevOps family, ideally someone comfortable with performing a wide range of technical activities: developing automation, managing CI/CD pipelines, provisioning Cloud infrastructure, performing security remediations, and observability.
As a Senior developer you will be responsible for designing and developing components and features independently in IBM India Systems Development Lab. You would be a part of Spectrum Fusion development organization and would be involved in designing , developing and discussing product delivery & strategy.
You should also have leadership quality to manage and work as technical leads and be able to deliver end to end features.

• Develop features for the Spectrum Fusion product
• Design and be an avid coder who can get his hands dirty and be involved in the coding to the deepest level.
• Work in an Agile environment of continuous deliverable.
• You ll have access to all the technical training courses you need to become the expert you want to be.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3 years of experience with Cloud and container-based technology (k8s, Docker), preferably Openshift
• 3 years of experience with automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, Bash)
• 1 year of experience with Pytest Automation Framework
• Proficient with object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, Go)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and tools (including GitHub, Jenkins)
• Problem solving abilities: ability to relentlessly debug to determine root cause of issues and provide solutions
• Experience with software design practices
• Ability to work cooperatively in a cross-geo team setting, and collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Sharp attention to detail, proactive self-starter, and committed to on-time delivery
• Available to provide occasional weekend daytime coverage

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with RedHat tools and environment (RHEL, ACM, ODF, etc.)
• Cloud infrastructure provisioning (e.g., AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud)
• Experience with design thinking
• Travis CI / Tekton
• Terraform
• Experience with UI automation using Selenium with Python language
• Observability tools
• Security, Vulnerability Scanning, Identity & Access Management
• Agile methodology
• Enterprise Storage or Cloud Storage domain knowledge
