Overview of Experience Required:
Overall Experience 5 to 8 years
Min 3 years of experience in Test Automation skill sets like Java, Selenium Webdriver and Cucumber
Excellent technical & communication skills
Jira / Confluence experience desirable
Banking and Finance Domain experience desirable


Overview of Technical Experience required:
Selenium WebDriver
Java
BDD (behavior driven development) using Cucumber
Jbehave and CI (continuous integration) using Jenkins
GIT, Bitbucket, Maven
SQL

 

POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :

Core Role & Responsibilities Responsible for developing/enhancing the test automation framework in accordance with Enterprise automation guidelines

Responsible for writing the functional and non-functional test scenarios based upon the acceptance criteria mentioned in the user stories

Responsible for reviewing and collaborating on the acceptance test scenarios with the scrum team, product owner and business stakeholders

Responsible for developing and executing the test automation scripts in accordance with API test automation framework at an API level

Responsible for creating and maintaining relevant regression test suites at a service/product level

Responsible for following engineering and testing best practices and guidelines for Source Code Management

Responsible for producing the test execution reports for scheduled/ on demand test executions

Participate in code reviews of the API automation scripts

Responsible for defining, provisioning and maintaining the test data

Responsible to work with Dev-Ops engineers for set up, maintenance and enhancements to CI/CD pipelines for API automation suites

Responsible for executing the API automation suites on multiple test environments

Responsible for producing automation matrices such as automation traceability

Responsible for creating Service Virtualisation stubs Skill-set

Experience in developing API automation frameworks such as Rest Assured

Strong experience in testing APIs using automation tools such as Postman, Jmeter, Loadrunner etc.

Ability to understand the system design, system integrations to integrate the API suites for facilitating the integration testing

Good understanding of service and data virtualization concepts

Strong experience in development & execution of API automation test scripts using Rest Assured

Strong understanding on dev-ops tools (Jenkins, Maven etc.) and concepts including CI/CD

Experience working in Jira/Zephyr for Test and Defect Management (test scenarios/cases, defects, reporting) and other tools such as confluence

Extensive experience in System testing, Regression testing, Smoke and Sanity testing and End to End testing

Experience in Agile development methodologies
