Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android TV Developer to work on our Android TV set-top box (STB) applications and services at one of the reputed broadband organization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications for Android TV STB and the development of it.

  Key Responsibilities:   Develop and maintain applications for Android TV STB   Integrate applications with other services   Ensure continuous improvements through customer/user feedback   Work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure   Collaborate with team members on problem-solving, design, and the creation of quality products   Qualifications:   Proficient with Android and Android TV development   Experience with Leanback Libraries and Android TV Input Framework   Knowledge of Android STB and its functioning end to end   Experience with sprints and Agile methodology   Experience with frameworks such as Firebase, Fabric   Familiarity with SQLite, RESTful and SOAP APIs Integration   Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards   Knack for benchmarking and optimization   Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}   Experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC models
